Jeanette Chasteen Leake is a painter and teacher based in Franklin, Tennessee, celebrated for her vibrant florals and charming depictions of women in everyday life. A Memphis native, Jeanette began painting at age 11 under the guidance of her mother and went on to earn her art degree from Belhaven University. She has studied with renowned artists in New York, France, and beyond, and spent years as a full-time portrait painter before expanding into teaching.
